Windsorsoup had warned Google about the Covent Garden soup company closing in Windsor after refusing to stock the soup. Arthur wrote saying he hoped nothing awful would happen to Google when it refused to allow its ads on Windsorsoup. But it crashed at  end of July 2004 with a  virus attack. Windsor soup wrote quoting the newspaper report. To commiserate?

Google got a lot of headlines with its flotation at the end of  August. One in the Sunday Telagraph was fascinating.  And the flotation was delayed. Windsor Soup wrote giving the reason as Googles refusal to allow the adverts.

Having removed the navi bar in the links page Google accepted Windsorsoup as part of its Adsense. Soop wrote congratulating Chris Google for having saved the company.

But they have been so nice Arthur had to write to say thanks. Especially when Chris was asked were to stick the ad and did not yield to temptation but wrote back patiently

What is weird is the adverts themselves are all about voluntary service and illnesses and stuff.
One was for colitis. SPOOF wrote saying could not imagine anyone wanting to buy it.
